My name is Matt Frame, director of 'Camp Death III in 2D!'

Enjoyed your Friday the 13th Part III review and thought my film might be up your alley.

It's a comedy/horror parody of 'Friday the 13th Part III 3D.'

We just completed the film and are about to launch our festival run.

We'd be honored if you would consider watching the first 5 minutes of the film and/or the trailer.

If you dig what you see then feel free to watch further.

Let me know if I can send you a password for our online screener.

Many thanks!
Matt.

[…] BLACK CHRISTMAS An all-time classic in the slasher genre, Black Christmas really brings out the creepy as a group of sorority sisters are terrorized in their own house. A demented killer lurks closely to the girls and makes a few phone calls that will make your skin crawl. With the killers voice, cinematography, and great deaths found here, the sad remake had nothing on the original. […]

Did they pay you to write a good review on this? Granted Sarah Bolger is very good in this but the scenes are ridiculous unless you're 10 yrs old. I'm supposing that this was filmed in a part of the U.S. where they've never heard of 911? First the son neglects to call for help when sitting at the old house phone then the parents don't bother calling after being in an accident? The beginning is spot on as you described but it seems like they didn't know what to do with the ending so they just faked their way through it and hoped no one would mind. Terrible ending spoiled the whole thing.
P.s. Are you wondering why no on has bothered to leave a comment? You can't write in the reply dialogue box. Get your act together. Wow. I tried three different browsers and finally had to write in notepad and paste it in.

Well, there's The Graveyard (set at the same camp, and presumably the same universe) and Adam & Evil (packaged as a sequel to this in the UK, for some reason).

Not that I don't love Nancy as well, NoES is my favorite series, but she didn't die to save anyone. They thought the battle was over; Freddy sort of disintegrated into light, and then her father is there and she goes to him to hug him, but it was really Freddy doing one final scare/kill. It's easy to defend Nancy as a hero (she figures out how to kill Freddy in all the movies that she's in, she sets up booby traps, teaches the other Elm Street kids that they have power in their dreams, etc), there's no need to make up this "she died for love" crap when there's so many real reason to praise her. This looks like someone just needed to post something and pulled something out of their butt.

Ginny was the best and Chris from Part 3 wasn't bad but her prudish personality gets annoying. I actually liked Trish from Part 4. I would have to say Alice was the 2nd best from Part 1. Cmon, she beheaded Mrs Voorhees!!! Whoever wrote her off the way they did in Part 2 was lame. If they were going to off her they should have given her a small cameo in Part 2 and then a full return in Part 3 somehow. Just an idea. I am thankful Rob Zombie hasn't come in to ruin another horror franchise. Artsy Fartsy crap.

[…] SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT (1984) As a young boy, Billy was given the unfortunate gift of witnessing his parents murdered by a mean old Santa Clause. Needless to say, christmas will never be the same for him. As a teen, the disturbed Billy dresses up as Santa and goes on a holiday killing spree before returning to the orphanage he grew up in. The inventive deaths and quirky towns people make this a must see during the Christmas season. […]

I actually hated this remake. The Blob remake from 1988 was mediocre and boring, and it gets way too much praise because people who saw it when they were young.
I agree. It is simply an underrated film. The scenes build suspense right up until the climax, ending in a crescendo of tension. The filmakers do a great job of creating an atmosphere of isolation and fear, deserving more then 19% on rotten tomatoes.

Love this movie as well, but be warned - despite what many people say, the sequel is nowhere near as good. Yes, the effects are more sophisticated, but Evil Dead II lacks the original's macabre atmosphere. Gore aside, the overall feel of the second movie is too comedic for it to transcend this 1981 horror masterpiece.

People always criticise the second movie for him not being in the dream world and still having powers. And seem to live the third film, but all forget there's a scene where he uses powers outside of dreams in that too. When they're looking for his remains, all the cars start up...the third is fun but it's so goofy. I like Freddy's revenge a lot more. People are too hung up on it being 'gay'
