Our resident twitter reviewer Tim Schilling continues to get his zombie groove on with a brand new review of “Return of the Living Dead 3.” While the film was better received than the second installment, it never found an audience at the box office and went down as one of 1993’s lowest grossing films. Does this Romeo & Juliet zombie tale hold up 20 years later?
Thoughts before the film:
Part I and II are two of my favorite movies of all time. I know that 3 is different but I’ve heard good things!
Thoughts while watching:
0:06 I don’t think licking a card like that would make a door open…
0:10 The zombies in this series always make the funniest noises.
0:15 Come on guys it’s the third movie you should know by now if you get bit by a zombie youre gonna turn into one!
0:20 Daddy issues.
0:30 I saw you boom operator! Gotta be more sneaky than that.
0:31 For a second I forgot this was a zombie movie.
0:39 This is so uneventful.
0:48 What the heck is this hobo guy doing?
1:01 This is excruciatingly boring.
1:03 Julie reminds me of that girl zombie they caught in the first one.
1:08 This bitch is messed up!
1:11 I wonder how long it took to put all that make up and stuff on. It’s really cool and done well.
1:17 Holy edited.
1:20 I love practical and corny special effects.
1:29 We can all blame this one asshole for letting the zombies out and killing all these people.
#ReturnOfTheLivingDead3, until the last half hour, was pretty boring. I think the idea of the movie is good, but the story didn’t live up to that idea. Zombie films and romance don’t really mix
