Happy Bloody Birthday, “Teddy”!

Three years ago today we had our first ever theatrical screening of a ‪Slasher Studios film with our slasher short ‪Teddy at ‪#Chicago Fear Fest‬. It went on to win Audience Favorite at the fest and it’s been a wild ride ever since. We have since released two additional short films and a feature film (Don’t Go to the Reunion) that went on to win several film fest awards. Now we have our latest slasher feature, Dismembering Christmas, slashing up film fests this fall. Thanks for all the amazing memories and here’s to many more to come!

We have been so busy with preproduction on our first slasher feature, Don’t Go to the Reunion, we haven’t had a chance to announce our exciting Teddy news until now. We are proud to announce that our very first slasher short Teddy has been crowned BEST HORROR SHORT OF 2012 from Horror Society!! TEDDY to Screen This Weekend as Part of Operation Kindness Benefit

Don’t forget, this Saturday, December 8th, TEDDY will be playing alongside the award winning film BRUTAL on December 8th as part of a fundraiser to benefit Operation Kindness, North Texas’ oldest and largest no kill animal shelter. It’s a great cause and we hope to see a packed house for help those little guys find homes. Lots of amazing horror celebrities and special guests as well.
