Over the last two and a half weeks, the cast and crew of Dismembering Christmas have been working around-the-clock on filming this killer slasher. We are pleased to announce it has been a bloody success and production couldn’t have gone more smoothly. We are still looking at an early fall release date for the film and will keep you all up-to-date on the status of post production. We are pleased to announce our top 5 Dismembering Christmas posters as voted by the slasher fans. This is the FINAL round and the top 3 will be used as our blu-ray, dvd, and vhs release covers so click on the poster you like best below and like/share/comment to vote! Votes have been reset from previous rounds and the winners will be announced on Christmas Day. As many of you may know, Slasher Studios’ second slasher feature “Dismembering Christmas” has been running a poster contest to find the ultimate art for our home video release. We started with 26 kick-ass posters and the slasher fans have narrowed our list down to a final top 10. You can vote for the top ten through the link below. On December 1st, we will narrow this list down to a top 5 as decided by the fans. The top 3 posters will be featured on our blu-ray, dvd, and vhs releases respectively. Make sure to vote today. Dismembering Christmas Poster Contest (Round 2)

Due to scheduling conflicts, Kelli Anderson will no longer be playing the role of Sam in Dismembering Christmas. We wish Kelli the very best and hope to work with her in the future. However, we do have some very exciting news. The talented and lovely Nina Kova, who was originally playing Lauren in the film, will now be playing the lead role of Sam. We know Nina will make for a hell of a leading lady in our slasher and we are excited to see what she brings to the role! Let the slay ride begin!

Here’s the drill, horror friends! We are starting the contest early to pick the new Dismembering Christmas artwork to be used in the official release of the film. Check out the 26 posters through the link below. We need your help in picking THREE posters to be used in the DVD, Blu-Ray, and VHS releases of the film. Simply comment DVD for your DVD choice, Blu-Ray for your Blu-Ray poster pick, and VHS for your VHS poster pick. Each one counts as a vote. We have a very special slasher announcement for you holiday horror friends. Joining the Slasher Studios crew as Director of Photography is Jordan Hiller. Jordan is an up-and-coming film student going to school at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is filled with a lot of passion and talent and we know that he’s going to shoot one hell of a killer movie. Welcome to the Dismembering Christmas family, Jordan!

As many of you many know, Slasher Studios’ second slasher feature, Dismembering Christmas, was successfully funded last week through Kickstarter. We cannot wait to make this the gory Christmas slasher that you’ve been waiting for and cannot thank you enough for the incredible support. As a reward, we have a very special gift for the backers from the punk-pop group The Robinsons. We worked with them on Don’t Go to the Reunion and they are back creating some kick-ass Slasher Studios tunes just for you!

The Robinsons would like to thank all of the Dismembering Christmas Kickstarter backers for supporting independent artists and for helping another slasher reach the screen. We are huge fans of Slasher Studios and recently recorded songs inspired by their films. The EP will be released online for free this Halloween via Ramone to the Bone Records, but, as a backer, you will be able to download the tracks now by using the link provided in the most recent Kickstarter email.
